Entertainment Weekly Nichkhun "Hope Jun.K Gets a Girl Friend, No More Sad Songs"

[OSEN= Jeon Sun Ha] Nichkhun pointed at Jun.K when asked to pick a member who should get a girl friend in the near future.

In KBS 2TV 'Entertainment Weekly' aired on 25th, Nichkhun said, "Jun.K writes many songs, but most of songs are so sad."

He added, "He was my pick to the answer since I want some bright songs from him." He wished Jun.K would get a girl friend soon. 

Meanwhile, Taecyeon got the hilarious honor of being chosen as the most immature member. The fact that he jokes around much was the explanation for the pick.

-This is your first time doing a musical, how did you feel when it was decided?
I felt really honored to have been offered the job and eager to try it since I was always interested in acting in a musical.

- What were the responses for your musical debut stage in Korea this February?
I have performed our songs to audience standing on the stage as a singer so far, but I have to focus on the role when acting in a musical, so at first that was hard for me. I tried to think of replacing D’Artagnan with myself since I’ve never learned acting. Those difficulties gradually faded away as I acted like that, and I was able to express the role of D’Artagnan in my own way. 2PM’s members also came to watch and really enjoyed it, they also gave me encouragement. Chansung said that he got goose bumps every time I appeared on the stage (laughs). I think it’s greatly fortunate for me that the members cheer me up like that. I once again thought about how nice all 2PM members are (laughs).

- What is the charm of D’Artagnan, whom you’re acting as, and the common points between him and yourself?
D’Artagnan goes to Paris from his hometown and fights to become a musketeer, I think the figure that believes in justice and goes straight in is impressive. I’m the type of person who would go forward without quailing even if I have to face some hardships, so that part of him may be similar to me. Also, I can sympathize with him going to rescue the woman he loves at the risk of his own life.

- What is your impression of your co-performers?
Um Kijoon-ssi and Shin Sungwoo-ssi are great seniors in both musicals and in life. So, I asked them various questions in a manner of always learning from my seniors and receiving advice from them. In addition, I’d like to follow their sincere attitudes towards musicals. There are really many chances to learn. 2AM’s Changmin is a friend who worked hard together with me in the same agency before and I’m on good terms with FT ISLAND’s Seunghyun too since I have had chances to meet him at music programs, so it is reassuring for me that there are friends my age like them.

- Lastly, please tell us about the highlights and give a message to the readers.
The best highlight is the passionate friendship between men. It’d be great if you can focus and look at the men’s passionate looks and their body movements sparkling during the musical. There may be many things I am lacking, but I am going to try my very best so please come to watch it.

Nichkhun gets protective over Jun.K peeking at his younger sister's legs








Nichkhun jokingly got angry at Jun.K because he was looking a little too close at his little sister!


On the May 27 episode of KBS 2TV's 'Hello', a woman came out to complain about her overprotective younger brother, revealing that he crossed the line when it came to her personal life. Nichkhun admitted that he thought it was a problem, saying to the younger brother, "I think you need to trust your noona more". One of the MCs then asked Nichkhun, "Do you trust your little sister?", and he replied immediately, "Of course I do!".

2PM's Jun.K has not only been making a name for himself as a singer-songwriter in Korea, but he has already rose to the top of the charts in Japan with his self-composed song "Falling In Love".

"Falling In Love" gets fans ready for summer with its refreshing melody. It was released as the coupling track for 2PM's 6th Japanese single "Give Me Love" and was written and composed by Jun.K himself.

Japanese HOTTESTs are also in luck as 2PM left for Japan on the 27th and will return to Korea on the 30th to continue their promotional activities.

Musical “The Three Musketeers” to land in Japan this summer!

It’s been decided that the musical “The Three Musketeers,” which has been gaining popularity in Korea since its premiere in 2009, will be performed in Tokyo in August.
This musical, which is based on a novel by Alexandre Dumas, has been performed all over the country and is now including Japan. The gorgeous performers, which includes many stars, is the biggest highlight of the Korean version.
Four stars including 2PM’s Jun. K will be appearing as the main chatacter D’artagnan in Japan too.
“This is my first time appearing in a musical. By participating in the field, I’m being challenged since I wanted to try it out for a while. I practice while learning many things from my seniors who have been active from the beginning, like the vocalization and acting as well,” said Jun. K.
He showed his singing ability and vivid performance looking as if it wasn’t his first musical, receiving great cheers from the audience during the show in Korea, which was held from February until April of this year.
“D’artagnan is a young man who leaves home to travel to Paris to join the Musketeers of the Guard - he resembles me with his energetic personality. There are many cool action scenes where he tries to rescue the heroine, as well other scenes using swords.
The 2PM members also came to see the show and praised my strenuous actions, saying, ‘It was awesome!’ (laughs)”

He says that he is also really looking forward to the Japanese performance in August.
“I sometimes talk to my co-performers about how I’d like to try out an adlib while saying my lines in Japanese, but my courage may fail me at that moment? (laughs)
I’d like to play D’artagnan while just being myself and while following my senior’s acting. I’d like many people to see “The Three Musketeers” since it’s a wonderful work that moves people through the men’s passionate friendship.”


Jun. K responded to the interview with a fully refreshing aura even while he was busy with the Korean performances.
He revealed the story behind his splendid sword technique, saying “I bought a fencing sword in Japan and was practicing silently since I had a tour in Japan until just before the premiere. I got many blisters on my hand.”

Kembali di bulan Oktober 2012, Jun.K 2PM membuat fans bingung pada perubahan nama mendadak dari Junsu ke Minjun. Sekarang setelah membuat comeback, Jun.K akhirnya mengungkapkan bahwa hal itu dilakukan untuk ayahnya.
Pada 15 Mei, Jun.K muncul di MBC “Radio Star’, dengan member 2PM lainnya dan berbicara tentang perubahan namanya.
“Ini masalah keluarga, tapi tahun lalu ayahku meninggal“, jelas Jun.K. “Ada makna untuk itu dalam keluargaku, dan aku memutuskan untuk mengikutinya karena situasi.“
Dia menambahkan bahwa ia mengikuti kehendak ayahnya dan secara resmi mengubah namanya dari Junsu ke Minjun. Dia telah menggunakan nama Jun.K untuk kegiatan promosi.

Setelah memuji sistem YG Entertainment, Jun.K dan Junho membuat diri mereka menjadi 

agak canggung.

Masih dari episode terbaru Radio Star, dimana 2PM berbicara tentang album baru dan 

comeback. Para member menyebutkan bahwa mereka berpartisipasi dalam pembuatan dan 

produksi beberapa lagu, ketika MC menjelaskan sesuatu.

“YG G-Dragon membuat lagu-lagunya sendiri dan menjadi judul lagu, tapi mengapa lagu Jun.K 

hanya menjadi bagian dari album?”

“Agensi mendukung mereka dengan baik di sana,” kata Junho, diikuti oleh Jun.K yang 

menambahkan, “Itu karena CEO YG tidak membuat lagu sendiri, tapi Park Jin Young hyung 

membuat lagu sendiri, jadi ini menjadi sedikit lebih sulit. “

[2PM Pre Debut] JUN.K

Jun.k emang udah sering ngikutin lomba nyanyi dari dulu, dan dia sering memenangkan hadiah. Salah satunya adalah kamera. Jun.k sedih banget waktu kamera itu hilang, karena menurutnya dia mendapatkannya dengan susah payah.

Sejak trainee hingga sekarang Jun.k paling suka mengabadikan photo2 temannya melalui kamera dengan berbagai pose, mulai dari yg cute, memalukan, bahkan saat mereka di kolam renang sekalipun dan menyimpannya di computer. Sampai2 Changmin bilang kalau komputernya di hack, maka 2AM-2PM bakalan selesai!!!Masalahnya, si Jun.k malah ga suka ngambil photonya sendiri!! Curang!!! hakhakhak

Jun.k adalah orang pertama yang membuat Junho terkesan saat baru menjadi trainee di JYPE. Alasannya adalah karena waktu itu, Junho pertama kali disuruh menyanyi oleh guru music mereka. Namun Junho tidak dapat mencapai semua nada. Sang gurupun memanggil Jun.k dan menyuruhnya menyanyikan lagu yg dinyanyikan Junho dan Jun.k menyanyikan lagu tsb dgn sangat baik, bahkan dia dapat mencapai semua nada yg tidak bisa dicapai Junho, membuat Junho berpikir bahwa Jun.k bukanlah orang biasa dan terkesan padanya. Sampai sekarang Junho masih inget pakaian yg dipakai Jun.k saat itu yaitu baju putih dan jeans dengan gaya rambut ke atas. Sedangkan si Jun.k malah bilang kalau dia lupa tapi dia merasa senang Junho mengingatnya sampai sedetail itu.

Kwon adalah trainee JYPE paling lama sehingga dia tau dan bisa memperkirakan trainee mana yg akan dicut dari JYPE dan tebakannya selalu benar kecuali untuk Jun.k. Kwon dulu mengira bahwa Jun.k akan di cut dari JYPE ternyata tidak.

Alasan Kwon mengira begitu adalah karena Jun.k adalah trainee paling bandel, dia suka keluar diam2 untuk menghabiskan waktu di luar bersama temen2nya. Kwon sendiri pernah memergoki Jun.k. Waktu itu, hari sudah malam, dia pergi melihat Jun.k ke kamarnya namun terlihat bahwa Jun.k sudah tidur dengan tubuh ditutupi selimut. Kwonpun keluar kamar, namun sejenak dia merasa aneh, karena biasanya malam2 begini Jun.k suka nangkring di depan computer, Kwon berpikir mungkin jun.k sakit. Akhirnya Kwon balik lagi karena khawatir dan mengecek tempat tidur Jun.k dan ternyata yg ada di balik selimut bukan Jun.k melainkan boneka pisang yg besar!!!! Kwkwkwk

Di hari lainnya, Jun.k pernah di skors yaitu dipulangkan ke Daegu karena melakukan kesalahan. Namun, Kwon yg saat itu berada di sebuah halte melihat sekelompok orang yg menurutnya seperti gangster (lebay bgt nih si jo kwon..XD) sedang berkumpul tak jauh darinya dan Jun.k ada di antara mereka. Kwon sgt terkejut karena harusnya Jun.k berada di Daegu sejak beberapa hari yg lalu. Faktanya Jun.k bilang dia ga balik ke Daegu, dia memilih nginap di dorm sekolahnya.

Di hari lainnya, Jun.k juga pernah diam2 mau keluar menemui temen2nya. Saat menuruni tangga, dia berpapasan dengan Jinwoon yg baru pulang latihan. Dan Jun.k langsung menyuruh Jinwoon merahasiakan kepergiannya dari Kwon. Alasannya karena dia merasa ga enak meninggalkan Kwon sementara dia pergi bersama temen2nya. Terus waktu ditanya kenapa ga ngajak Kwon aja, dia ngeles dengan bilang Kwon masih di bawah umur. Dasar!!!.XD

Sejak saat itu, berbagai cerita kaburnya Jun.k udah jadi rahasia umum buat trainee yg lain. Bahkan saat memasuki kamar Jun.k dan melihat jendela kamarnya terbuka, trainee yg lain curiga bahwa Jun.k akan kabur dengan menuruni pipa di sebelah jendela.hakhakhak udah kayak film eksyen.XD

Jun.k adalah orang pertama yg menjadi kenalan Khun saat Khun baru nyampek di Korea dan Jun.k mengajari Khun sedikit kosakata korea terutama bahasa2 jorok dan makian2. Hakhakhak

Ketika trainee, Jun.k pernah memaki shoe-lift (benda yang dimasukkan ke sepatu untuk menambah tinggi) karena merasa minder ma temen2nya yg tinggi,tapi akhirnya ketauan ma anak2 yg lain dan diapun tidak lagi memakainya.

Jun.k paling ga bisa ngedance makanya dia paling males kalau diajak latihan ngedance, dia lebih memilih latihan vocal. Btw Saking parahya dia ngedance, pelatih dancenya pernah menghukumnya tidak diperbolehkan minum sampai dia bener2 bisa ngedance. Akhirnya Jun.k pura2 ke kamar mandi dan minum air kran karena kehausan. Poor Oppa!!!

Karena dia ga bisa ngedance, dia awalnya akan dimasukkan ke 2AM. Dia bahkan udah belajar lagu “This Song” selama 6 bulan. Tapi akhirnya JYP berubah pikiran dan memasukkan Jun.k ke 2PM dan Kwon ke 2AM.

Semasa trainee, Jun.k dan Jinwoon sering dikeluhkan karena bau kaki. Hahahaha

Sejak zaman trainee sampai sekarang Jun.k adalah member yg paling susah bangun pagi. Khun sampai heran ngeliat Jun.k yg susah2 mematikan alarm-nya yg berdering tapi kemudian malah tidur kembali. Hahaha Sedangkan menurut Taec, Jun.k adalah yg paling lama di kamar mandi.

2PM’s Jun.K shows his brotherly love for Se7en (Mar 16)

It may still seem surreal to many fans but Se7en will be enlisting in just a few days!

Many celebrities previously showed their support for the singer, and 2PM‘s Jun.K made sure to give his farewell greeting as well.

Jun.K tweeted on the 16th, “Farewell Se7en Dongwook hyung!! I prepared flowers for you hyung keke. I love you brother. Please stay healthy hyung”, and shared a snapshot of him and Se7en showing their brotherly love for each other. Jun.K also prepared flowers to show his support for Se7en’s enlistment.

Se7en will leave for the Uijeongbu 306 Reserve Battalion on March 19 to officially start his post as an active-duty soldier.
