[UPDATED] JYP Entertainment reported to launch the debut of 7-member boy group next month

JYP Entertainment have been getting us closer to the big reveal of their new artists and are reportedly planning to launch the debut of a 7-member boy group, who are already being coined as 'the next 2PM', sooner than expected, this coming January!

According to multiple insiders in an exclusive report by OSEN, JYPE is planning for the debut of a 7-member boy group early this January. If the reports are true, this will be the agency's first boy group following 2PM in six years. Although there is already hype surrounding the agency's upcoming girl group and 5Live, it has been reported that another boy group will make their debut before the rest. Some of the members have already been introduced through the trainee battle between JYP and YG trainees on 'WIN'.

A source close to JYP Entertainment told MyDaily on the 24th, "A 7-member idol group which specializes in martial arts will debut mid-January 2014... If 2PM are aces at acrobatics and beastly idols whose strengths are their strong and manly charms, this upcoming idol group are boys with softer charms and can also perform martial arts. You will be able to get a more youthful feeling from them."

JYPE is also preparing for the debut of their upcoming girl group as well as the debut of 5Live which is reportedly set for mid-next year.

[UPDATE] -- A JYP rep revealed to Star News that JJ Project will also be part of the upcoming boy group, stating, "JYP's new boy group is preparing to debut with the global market in mind... JJ Project are also members of JYP's new boy group. They are already receiving interest from major labels in Japan and more even prior to their debut."
